Effective date: 10 May 2026 Last updated: 10 May 2026

1. Service Area

FLEXIRIDER currently operates in Chennai. Service-area expansion to additional cities is announced via in-app notifications, email newsletters, and our website. You can check service availability for a specific pincode in the app or by contacting customercare@bumore.in.

2. Pickup Window

For instant orders, a rider is assigned typically within 5-10 minutes after order placement. Scheduled orders are picked up at the requested time slot.

3. Estimated Delivery Time

Estimated time of arrival (ETA) is shown at order placement and updated in real-time as the rider progresses. Typical delivery within service area: 30-90 minutes depending on distance.

4. Delivery Confirmation

Delivery is confirmed via:

5. Service Charges

Delivery charges are calculated based on distance, parcel type, and time of day. The full breakdown (base fare + per-km + COD handling fee + GST) is shown before order confirmation.

6. Failed Delivery

If a delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unreachable, the address is incorrect, or no eligible person is available to accept the parcel, the rider will attempt to contact the recipient up to three (3) times by phone over 10 minutes and send one SMS notification. If still unreachable, the parcel is returned to the originating sender or held at the nearest FLEXIRIDER hub for collection or re-attempt at the customer's request. A failed-delivery re-attempt fee equal to a fresh delivery charge applies. If the failure is due to incorrect address provided by the customer, the original delivery charge is non-refundable.

7. Restricted Items

The following items are NOT permitted for delivery via FLEXIRIDER:

FLEXIRIDER reserves the right to refuse or return any parcel that is reasonably suspected of containing restricted items. Customers attempting to ship restricted items may have their account suspended and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

8. Liability

FLEXIRIDER's liability for any single parcel damaged, lost, or stolen while in our custody is limited to the actual declared value of the parcel, capped at ₹2,000 per parcel as standard, regardless of the actual value. To claim, the customer must report the issue within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time via the in-app Dispute flow or by writing to customercare@bumore.in with photographic evidence. For parcels with declared value exceeding ₹2,000, optional Parcel Protection insurance may be purchased at checkout (where available) — this raises the liability cap to ₹10,000 per parcel for an additional fee. FLEXIRIDER is not liable for consequential losses, including but not limited to lost business, emotional distress, or third-party claims arising from delayed or failed delivery.
